St. Ignatius of Antioch School is located in Yardley, PA which is a suburb of Philadelphia. We have about 300 students from PreK - to 8th grade with one class at each grade level. We have 27 students in our 3rd grade this year. Pennsylvania has a temperate climate so we get hot summer weather during June, July and August between 80-95 degrees Fahrenheit (26-35 degrees Celsius). In the winter months of December, January and February, we get cold weather and sometimes lots of snow. Average temperatures in the winter are between 20-40 degrees Fahrenheit (-6 to 4 degrees Celsius). You can learn more about us by visiting our Classroom Blog http://mrstinaschmidt.edublogs.org/ We were also hit by Hurricane Sandy this past October.
